How I work
I am a fully accredited counsellor and am registered with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. I am also a qualified Couple Counsellor and in addition I offer Supervision to counsellors of individuals and couples.
As a Person Centred Counsellor I welcome clients with a wide range of perplexing things going on in their lives, things that disturb their peace of mind and cause unhappiness or distress.
I am interested in people; whether you are sad or lonely, are in a difficult relationship, have suffered loss, have deep regrets about the past, are bewildered by the future or are trying to cope with change, I will take time to listen and will try to gain some understanding about you and your life.
Person Centred Counselling is a respectful way of working that comes alongside you, the client, and helps you to see where and how you can take responsibility for your life and actions, begin to regain autonomy and fulfill your potential.
I have been accredited with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists since 2011. I work within the General Data Protection Regulations and the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions. I attend supervision regularly and aim to keep informed by attending events and trainings for Continued Professional Development.
